Quite a lot of theorem that explains that ‘Arsy is a creature of Allah. We bring some arguments from the Qur’an, Sunnah, and Ijma ‘ulama
The proof of the Qur’an
God is the great ‘Arsy’ Rabb (creator). Allah says,
“Say,” Who is the Lord of the seven Heavens and the Four “Great Throne?” (Al-Mu’minun: 86).
Allah says,
“So the Most High God, the Real King, there is no god except He, the Rabb (the One) ‘The glorious throne” (Al-Mu’minun / 23: 116).
Shaykh al-Islam explains the purpose of Rabb ‘Arsy is the one who created, he said,
“God is the Rabb of all things including ‘Arsy and the others. God the Creator of all things including ‘Arsy and others. “[1]
So also the word of God,
“(That which has such qualities) is Allah your Lord; there is no deity (other than Him); Creator of all things, then worship Him; and He is the keeper of all things “(Al-An’am: 102).
The rule is anything other than God is a being. Shaykh Muhammad At-Tamimi said,
“All other than Allah is ‘nature (being), and I am one part of the’ nature.” [2]
The Prologue of As-Sunnah
There is a firm proposition stating that Allah created ‘Arsy.
Abu Raziin Al-Uqailiy asked the Prophet the Messenger of Allaah ‘alaihi wa sallam,
“O Messenger of Allah, where was our Lord before he created his creatures? He replied, ‘He is in’ amaa, nothing above and below the air, then he creates His Throne on the water. ‘”[3]
The jurisprudence of ijma ‘ulama
Muhammad bin ‘Uthman bin Abi Syaibah said,
“The news reaches the level of mutawatir (so many paths) that Allah Ta’ala creates’ Arsy and then lives on it.” [4]
Mulaa Ali Al-Qarii mentions in syarh Al-Fikhul Al-Akbar,
“Indeed Allah Ta’ala created ‘Arsy to reveal His power.” [5]
Ibn Hazm rahimahullah said,
“The scholars have agreed that Allah the Almighty, there is no partner for Him, the Creator of all things except Himself. He is always the One. There is nothing besides God who pampers Him, then He creates everything as He wishes. The soul is a creature, ‘arsy it is a being, and’ nature is all creatures. “[6]
‘Arsy is the highest makhluq Allah and Allah is above’ Throne.
Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said,
“Allah is above His Throne and His Throne above the heavens and the earth, as it is and he is gesturing with his fingers like a dome.” [7]
Rasulullah shallalahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said,
“If you ask, ask Al-Firdaus, for he is the ultimate heaven and the highest and above it is the ‘Throne of Allah, and of him the rivers of heaven.’ [8]
‘Arsy is the first creature God created
There is a clue what the first creatures God created. There are three opinions in this regard
1. Al-Qalam (pen writes destiny)
This is the opinion of Ibn Jarir At-Tabari and Ibn Jauzi
2. Al-Maa ‘(water)
This is Ibn Mas’ud’s opinion and partial salam
3. Al-‘Arsy
This is the opinion of Ibn Taimiyyah and Ibnul Qayyim. [9]
The strongest opinion-the first thing that God had created was’ Arsy. Shaykh Al-‘Ustaimin explains,
“The first thing God created from everything that we abstain is ‘Throne, then God is on it after creating the heavens and the earth as in the word of God,’ And He Who created the heavens and the earth within six days. (Previous) ‘arsy Allah on the water, to test you who is the best
